Puerto Rican Culture

The Puerto Rican culture is very rich in various forms. This is because it is not a single culture if not a mixture of them from the Indians, slaves and the Spaniards. Each one of them has been adapted a bit of their cultures. For example: The Indians taught us to planting, fishing, musical instruments and hunting. In the case of slaves as we know these were people of color in their free time these dancing better known as Bomba and Plena. In the case of the Plena was for a way to complain of mistreatment and abuse through singing. On the other hand these adapted: race, food, clothing, instruments, and dances. The Spaniards have adapted their religious beliefs, language, clothing, food, structures such as houses, forts and other. The Puerto Rican culture identifies us as a country. I love the culture of my country because it is rich in tradition, food, folklore and dances. This is contagious, because everything alien to know her is impacted. This shows that we are a united country and joyful as we are a country that celebrates it all from the first rain of May until we are the country that has Christmas longest in the world. This is Puerto Rico ...

  2. You are right about Puerto Ricans celebrating the longest Christmas in the World! Might as well call them the best Christmas in the world, but I may be a little biased...
